A large variety of industrial and consumer-related finished applications or semi-finished products continuously flows through our processing plant and satisfies individual levels of use.

NAST® advanced processing plants are equipped with water compatible coating lines consisting of multi-point process and equipment controls that ensure 100% compliance and repeatability.

Finished products consisting of conveyor lines with individually temperature-controlled curing ovens which enable parallel application processes to take place at the same time and at all times serve our customers with shortened delivery times.

Parts of our processing plant for dry form polymer as well as wet coating are also ready to process product units with significant weight and lengths.

R2R process

Semi-finished products are served through process lines for Coil (R2R) in width dimensions from 140 mm to 1500 mm in material thicknesses from 0.08 to 1.5 mm. Technical surface treatment covers a considerable range based on the area of application, be it organic (food- safe) nano chemistry for packaging purposes or other industry-oriented purposes based on other environmental impacts.

Advanced process lines handle single or double-sided surface treatment in a parallel process. Process lines have incorporated processing stations where coils are largely changed into dimensioned plate products.

Optimal surface engineering solutions are available for every case of standard products as well as innovative technology and design. The purpose of surface treatment is to increase the product's corrosion resistance, wear resistance, friction ratio, aesthetics, or other functional requirements.

Prerequisites for achieving a successful surface treatment is the essential first stage treatment of a metal substrate.

This pretreatment process should not only clean the metal, but also add a custom profile to receive the protective coating.

Each metal requires its own, specific method to achieve optimal bonding to the polymer- coated surface structure, where we recommend with our knowledge what is required to secure the product, whether it is machined, otherwise processed or contaminated.

Suitable passivation procedure for each metal substrate and passivation of different metals is an important part and has a major focus in our business.
